6 Wonderful years

Safe Black Space (SBS) is celebrating six wonderful years of serving the Black community in Sacramento with culturally competent mental health support.  

As SBS reaches six years of service we invite the community to attend our free in-person Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, April 27th from 2-5 pm PT. It will be held at Unity of Sacramento 9249 Folsom Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95826 and all community members are invited!  At the event, we will honor our participants and our SBS village.  Join us and get a sense of what happens in our healing circles and experience the power of SBS.  Take a moment to RSVP nowThe celebration will include food, art, spoken word, African drumming and dancing and more!

Our signature service, SBS Community Healing Circles, have been particularly successful in the aftermath of the killing of Stephon Clark and continue to provide crucial support to the local and larger Black community.
